
The Muny’s captivating seven-show lineup for its 105th season is bursting with premieres, comedies, romance and magic. The season begins June 12, 2023, and runs through Aug. 20, 2023.
St. Louis’ summer theater destination begins with a scenic drive through a national treasure, Forest Park. Bring a picnic with your favorite snacks and play your Broadway playlist while enjoying the outdoors. Or treat yourself to delicious selections from Café One and Culver Pavilion, located in the Steward Family Plaza (East Lawn). Your experience continues with the pre-show festival located on both the East and West lawns (Purina Plaza) and Lichtenstein Plaza (upper Muny lot) for a free celebration of community and the performing arts. With live performances, musical guests and kids’ activities, the pre-show is a one-of-a-kind experience for the entire family.

During select performances throughout the summer, see a special treat featuring Muny Kids & Teens at the Broadhurst Pavilion (West Lawn). Some of the most talented youth in St. Louis perform the latest Broadway hits as a perfect treat to start off your night.
“Our 105th season is epic, thrilling and promises another great summer of memories for our incredible Muny audiences,” said Muny artistic director and executive producer Mike Isaacson. “It’s an adventurous season that offers something for everyone, and we’re hard at work creating seven spectacular productions.”

With four Muny premieres, the season kicks off on a high note with the Regional and Muny premiere of “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” (June 12 to 18); followed by the magical Muny favorite Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” (June 22 to 30); “Chess” makes its Muny premiere in July in partnership with the Saint Louis Chess Club and World Chess Hall of Fame (July 5 to 11); the epic love story “West Side Story” returns to the Muny stage (July 15 to 21); also returning to the stage after over a decade is the comedy to die for, “Little Shop of Horrors” (July 25 to 31); the long-awaited Muny premiere of “Rent” finally arrives (Aug. 4 to 10); and the grand finale of the season is the divine musical comedy “Sister Act” (Aug. 14 to 20). All performances begin at 8:15 p.m.
